Lost weight but your abdomen looks the same? That is not a coincidence. Your body decides where it loses fat from first and usually leaves the stubborn areas until last, which is why someone can lose ten kilos and stay the same dress size. Mesotherapy works on those areas specifically, but it is not a substitute for weight loss: it is a stage that comes after it or alongside it, and it starts with a consultation that decides whether it suits your case at all.
Conditions we treat
Stubborn abdominal and flank fat
Fat on the hips, thighs and upper arms
Back fat
Localised areas left behind after weight loss
Areas that do not respond to diet and exercise alone
Treatments & services
Mesotherapy
Localised injections for stubborn fat
Injections placed directly into the fat layer under the skin, so the treatment works on exactly the area that bothers you rather than on the whole body: abdomen, flanks and upper arms. It is done as weekly sessions, and most cases need four to six. The consultation comes first: your medical history, your medicines, the condition of the skin at the site and your weight-loss plan all decide whether mesotherapy suits you and which areas are actually worth treating.

No, and it is the most important question. Mesotherapy works on the stubborn localised fat that the body leaves until last, not on total weight. If your case needs weight loss, the consultation will say so plainly and we will start there.
Most people feel a brief light sting during the injections, and the session itself is short. Afterwards there may be mild soreness, bruising or swelling at the site for some days, and this is explained in detail at the consultation before you start.
Most people go back to work and their usual day after the session. If there is swelling or bruising, you may need to avoid strenuous exercise or pressure on the area for a short time, and the doctor will give you the instructions that fit your case.
We review after four to six weekly sessions. The change shows in your measurements and in how clothes fit before it shows on the scale. If there is no measurable change by then, we will say so and reconsider the plan rather than sell you more sessions.
Risks depend on the substance, area and injection technique. Pain, redness, swelling or bruising may occur, as can allergy, infection, lumps or scarring. Ask about the substance, its source and alternatives, and seek prompt review for increasing pain, spreading redness, fever or discharge.
The procedure should be postponed during pregnancy. During breastfeeding, safety depends on the substance because a local injection does not mean there is no absorption. Review it with the obstetric clinician and injector, using the exact substance rather than the word mesotherapy alone.
No. Response varies with the area, concern and substance, and local mesotherapy is not a treatment for overall weight. Agree on a realistic goal, measurement method and review point before starting. If there is no objective change, reassess rather than repeat sessions indefinitely.
